Estlund sets another record...In Friday night's 5-game win against Tarleton State University, senior setter Stacey Estlund (Clarkston, Wash.) set an ENMU season assist record, with her 70 assist performance, of 1,179 for the season. Estlund needed 68 assists going into the match to break Brandi Reynolds' 1995 record of 1,176. Estlund has 1,215 assists going into the LSC Tournament this week. She also holds third place with 1,153 assists in 1996.

Earlier this season, Estlung set an ENMU career assist record in the second game of the October 25 match against Abilene Christian. She broke Zia great Barbara Lynn's career assist record of 2,165 that was set in 1986. Estlund has 2,368 career assists going into the week.

The Zias (18-13, 7-5 LSC South)...won their final two matches of the season to advance to the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament. On Friday night, the Zias beat Tarleton State, 3-2, with the fifth rally game going 16-14. On Saturday, they beat Midwestern State, 3-0.

The Zias finished the regular season tied for second place with Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Javelinas won the tie breaker with two wins over ENMU this season. The only way ENMU will play at home this week is if ENMU and Cameron meet in the conference championship on Saturday. That would mean upsets of nationally-ranked West Texas A&M and Texas Woman's.

This Week....the Zias travel to Edmond, Oklahoma for the first round of the LSC Tournament. The Bronchos are 23-8 overall and 7-3 in the LSC-North. In their only meeting of the season UCO beat the Zias, 3-0 in early October. That loss started a period where the Zias won one match out of eight. However, ENMU turned that around and has finished up the regular season with a 7-1 record since October 18.

Ticket Prices at UCO...are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.

Ticket Prices at WTAMU...are $5.00 for the chair back center court seats, $4.00 for adult general admission and $1.00 for students with I.D.
