Four Football Players Suspended for Tarleton State Game

(Portales, N.M.) --- Eastern New Mexico University head football coach Bud Elliott announced this morning that four Greyhound football players will be suspended for the Tarleton State University football game this Saturday in Stephenville, Texas for violation of team rules and policies.

Senior halfback/kick return specialist Charlie Ragle of Playas and senior free safety Jason Swindle of Albuquerque will be suspended for one game, while redshirt freshman quarterback Brady Bazzell of Mineral Wells, Texas and sophomore linebacker Spencer Braxton of Forest, Virginia are suspended indefinitely.

Ragle is second on the team in all-purpose yardage this season with 482 yards, including an 80-yard kickoff return against New Mexico Highlands on September 13 with no time left to beat the Cowboys, 34-31. Swindle leads the defense with three interceptions. Bazzell is the second leading rusher on the team with 182 yards in the three games he has played. Braxton has not played in a game this season for the Greyhounds.
