All-Lone Star Conference-South Division...sophomore post Amanda Mendez (San Antonio, Texas) is a second team All-LSC-South Division selection, while sophomore wing Sharon Max (Fruitland) is an honorable mention pick. The all-conference teams were released today.

Mendez is the leading scorer for the Zias with 12.6 points per game and a 53.3% shooting percentage from the field. She also leads the team in blocked shots with 29. Max is the third leading scorer for the Zias with 8.8 points per game. She is shooting 86.1% from the free throw line and is second on the team in assists with 52.

The Zias (15-11, 8-8 LSC-South)...earned the #5 seed in the Lone Star Conference post-season tournament this week with a second half of the season run. The Zias won 7 of their last 9 games.

Senior post Leigh Dalluge (Tulia, Texas) was the leading scorer for the Zias on Thursday with 14 points in a 63-58 loss to nationally-ranked Abilene Christian. Three Zias pulled down five rebounds in the game - junior Julie Smith (Albuquerque), sophomore Amanda Mendez (San Antonio, Texas), and freshman Katheryne Hickman (San Antonio, Texas). Mendez was the second leading scorer for ENMU with 13 points. Smith dished out nine assists.

The Zias got some revenge on Saturday with an 81-68 win over Angelo State. ENMU had lost to the Rambelles earlier in the season in San Angelo. Junior wing Bria Norris (Amarillo, Texas) was the team's leading scorer and rebounder with 18 points and five rebounds. Mendez followed close behind with 14 points and five rebounds. Sophomore Sharon Max(Fruitland) had 12 points and seven assists.

This Week....the Zias get to play Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls for the second time in 11 days. ENMU beat the Lady Indians (12-14, 9-7 LSC-South) on February 14, 67-60 behind 14 points from Mendez and 11 from Dalluge. MSU is lead by Shannon Boase with 15.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

On the Airwaves...95.3 KSEL-FM will broadcast the game at Midwestern State. Former LSC Broadcaster of the Year Jim Boles will describe the action in Wichita Falls.

Weekly Radio Show...Don Elder will also be hosting the ENMU Coaches Show on 107.5 KSMX-FM every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm from Juanito's Restaurant on Avenue C in Portales. Different ENMU coaches will join Elder to give updates on the progress of their teams throughout the winter and spring.

SportsLook...will broadcast on KENW-TV Channel 3 on Thursday nights. The show, hosted by Dallan Sanders, is an ENMU student-run production.
