Ticket Price Adjustments...Beginning in January, general admission tickets for Greyhound and Zia basketball games $4.00 for Adults (out of high school) and $3.00 for Kids kindergarten thru 12th grade. Under kindergarten age are free.

The Greyhounds (5-5)...had some personnel changes during the holiday break. Freshman guard John Munoz (San Antonio, Texas), junior guard Mike Martinez (Albuquerque) and junior guard James Fry (Arlington, Texas) left the team for personal reasons.

The Greyhounds picked up one new face, Chris Wilkerson, a junior guard from San Jose, California. Wilkerson is a 6-4, 180 lb. transfer from San Jose Community College. He will wear #32.

Post player Val Petteway (Galveston, Texas) is waiting on an appeal regarding his eligibility.

Wilkerson made the most of his first appearance in a Greyhound uniform on Friday night in Eastern New Mexico's 97-54 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God. Wilkerson was the first player off the bench, scoring 13 points to lead the Hounds. He was one of five Hounds in double figures. Senior post Angel Gutierrez (Fabens, Texas), junior guard Aaron Buckmister (Mesa, Ariz.), and sophomore guard Matt Vail (Grants) each had 12 points, while freshman guard Gerald McCaslin (San Antonio, Texas) had 11. Gutierrez led the Hounds with 12 rebounds, 7 on the offensive end.

Freshman guard Karisman Taylor and junior guard Daryl Bickham had 8 and 7 assists, respectively. Both players are from Alamogordo High School.

This Week....the Hounds will begin Lone Star Conference-South Division action. Tarleton State comes to town Thursday night with an 8-3 overall record (1-0 in LSC-South). The Texans have three players averaging in double figures - junior post Greg Austin (18.6), senior forward Stephan Sheckles (16.4), and junior guard Ryan Huntley (10.2). Austin also leads the team in rebounding with 9.1 per game.

Midwestern State comes to Greyhound Arena on Saturday night after playing West Texas A&M on Thursday. The Indians are 8-5 overall and 0-1 in the LSC-South. They lost to Tarleton State last week, 79-55. MSU has five players averaging double figure scoring - junior forward Richard Johnson (18.9), freshman forward Charlie Bennett (15.8), senior center Joe Washington (14.1), junior guard Tony Avezzano (10.2) and sophomore guard Jerome Jackson (10.2). Avezzano played for Angelo State the past two seasons and is one of the top three-point scoring threats in the LSC.

On the Airwaves...107.5 KSMX-FM will be broadcasting all of the Greyhound basketball games. Don Elder and Travis Barger will handle the play-by-play and color commentary for all ENMU home games. KSMX will pick up feeds of the Greyhound road games whenever possible.

***Saturday's game against Midwestern State may be broadcast on sister station 1450 KSEL-AM due to the EPAC high school basketball tournament this weekend.

Weekly Radio Show...Don Elder will also be hosting the ENMU Coaches Show on 107.5 KSMX-FM every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm from Juanito's Restaurant on Avenue C in Portales. Different ENMU coaches will join Elder to give updates on the progress of their teams throughout the winter and spring.

SportsLook...will broadcast on KENW-TV Channel 3 on Thursday nights. The show, hosted by Dallan Sanders,will take a break for finals week and the holidays. The show will resume when classes resume in January. Sports Look is an ENMU student-run production.
