(22-9, 9-3 LSC) ENMU finished the regular season at 22-9 overall. The Zias claimed second place in the LSC South Division with a 9-3 record. TAMUK took third place in the South at 7-5. The Lady Javelinas improved to 21-11 overall. Game scores in Saturday’s match were 15-7, 7-15, 15-10, 15-9. Both teams had powerful attacks, as ENMU earned a .245 attack percentage and TAMUK finished with a .241 attack percentage. Serving helped Kingsville gain an edge in the match. The Lady Javelinas recorded 8 service aces compared to 4 for the Zias. Eastern also committed 12 serving errors, while Kingsville had just 6 serving errors. Kenisha Reaux led TAMUK with 23 kills. She had a .370 hitting percentage. Kim Martinez added 17 kills and 17 digs, while Ada Ihemelu contributed 12 kills with a .360 attack percentage. For Eastern, Rachael Grant (Jr., MB, Wenatchee, WA/Columbia Basin College) produced 14 kills and an impressive .414 attack percentage. Irma Cobos (Jr., OH, Kermit, TX/Kermit H.S.) supplied 11 kills and 15 digs. Heather DesMarais (Jr., RS, Yakima, WA/Columbia Basin) and Charlene Hunt (Sr., OH, Sacramento, CA/Sacramento City College) each added 10 kills. Maricela Santos (Jr., MB, Laredo, TX/Laredo C.C.) connected for 9 kills on 21 attacks with no kill errors (.429). DAVISON
