ENMU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ADDS 6’3” POST PLAYER TO LIST OF SIGNEES
PORTALES, NM — Eastern New Mexico University head women’s basketball coach Wayne Moore has announced the signing of 6’3” junior college transfer post player Lisa Rollins to a National Letter of Intent.

She joins two other junior college transfers and one high school senior already signed this spring by ENMU. All four players will join the Zias this fall for the 1999-2000 season.

ENMU has recorded 10 consecutive seasons with at least a .500 record, including 15-12 each of the past two years. Moore, who will be in his 20th season next fall, has led the Zias to 15 seasons at .500 or better during his 19 years at the university.

Lisa Rollins — Post, 6’3”, Transfer from Weatherford College (Weatherford, Texas), Originally from Saginaw, Texas (Boswell H.S.), she will graduate from Weatherford College later this spring. She played at Weatherford during the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons. Rollins helped Weatherford earn a 20-9 overall record this past season.

At Boswell High School in Saginaw, Texas, she was an Honorable Mention All-District selection as a junior and a senior. She was also named Second Team All-Region during her senior year.
