EASTERN NEW MEXICO ANNOUNCES EIGHT NEW MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYERS
PORTALES, NM — Eastern New Mexico University head men’s basketball coach Terry Tyler signed seven student-athletes to National Letters of Intent this spring.

Five of the student-athletes will be freshmen in 1999-2000 and two are junior college transfers. A four-year college transfer student has also decided to join the Greyhounds, giving ENMU a total of eight new players. The Greyhounds may still get commitments from one or two more players.

Tyler recently concluded his first season as head coach of the Greyhounds, who compete in the Lone Star Conference South Division. Tyler, formerly a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 11 seasons, as well as three seasons in Italy, has signed the following players in his first full recruiting class:
