LINDSEY DAVISON CHOSEN LSC SOUTH DIVISION SETTER-OF-THE-WEEK
Eastern New Mexico University senior setter Lindsey Davison (5’8”, Kelso, WA/Columbia Basin College) has been chosen Lone Star Conference South Division Setter-of-the-Week for her efforts in Eastern’s three matches during the week of Sept. 13-19.

It is the second time this season that Davison has been chosen LSC South Setter-of-the-Week. She also received the honor for her performance during the week of Aug. 30 - Sept. 5.

Davison helped ENMU earn a 2-1 record last week. She earned 150 assists in the three matches, averaging 11.5 assists per game (13 games). She also achieved a .275 hitting percentage with 13 kills and just 2 kill errors on 40 total attacks. She provided 54 digs during the week, an average of 4.2 digs per game.

At the net, Davison recorded 1 block solo and 3 block assists (4 total blocks). ENMU opened the week with a 15-17, 15-6, 15-13, 15-13 road victory over Western New Mexico on Mon., Sept. 13.

The Zias opened Lone Star Conference play on Fri., Sept. 17, when they defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville, 15-7, 10-15, 15-17, 15-15, 15-7, in Kingsville. Eastern then played a non-conference match against St. Mary’s (Texas) on Sat., Sept. 18. St. Mary’s defeated the Zias, 15-11, 6-15, 15-7, 15-10. The ENMU-St. Mary’s match was played at TAMU-Kingsville.
