LINDSEY DAVISON CHOSEN LSC SOUTH SETTER-OF-THE-WEEK FOR 3RD TIME IN 1999
PORTALES, NM — Eastern New Mexico University senior setter Lindsey Davison (5’8”, Kelso, WA/Columbia Basin College) has been chosen Lone Star Conference South Division Setter-of-the-Week for her efforts in Eastern’s three matches during the week of Sept. 20-26.

It is the third time this season that Davison has been chosen LSC South Setter-of-the-Week. She also received the honor for the week of Aug. 30 - Sept. 5 and the week of Sept. 13-19.

Davison helped ENMU sweep all three matches to improve to 12-3 overall and 3-0 in the Lone Star Conference South Division. She provided 107 assists during the week, and averaged 11.9 assists per game. She also contributed 13 kills on 26 attacks with no kill errors (.500 hitting pct.). Davison earned 38 digs (4.2 per game) and had 2 block assists.

Davison passed the 2,000-assist mark during the week. She has 2,038 career assists and is currently third on ENMU’s all-time assist chart. She needs 127 assists to reach second place.

ENMU defeated Wayland Baptist, 15-12, 15-6, 17-15, on Tues., Sept. 21, in a non-conference match in Plainview, Texas. The Zias concluded the week with LSC victories at Greyhound Arena over Angelo State, 15-8, 15-1, 15-7, on Fri., Sept. 24, and Abilene Christian, 15-5, 15-11, 15-12, on Sat., Sept. 25.
