ENMU OFFERS LI'L HOUND POUND
AS GREYHOUND FOOTBALL KIDS CLUB
PORTALES, NM — The Eastern New Mexico University Athletic Department & the ENMU Campus Bookstore have teamed up to bring the kids of Roosevelt County the "Li'L Hound Pound" kids club.

Beginning with the first home Greyhound Football game (Sept. 11, 6:00 p.m.), up to 120 kids ages 12 and under will be given the opportunity to get a free "Li'l Hound Pound" T-shirt. By wearing the T-shirt to the home games, each child will get in every home Greyhound Football game free.

"We're really excited about this opportunity to involve area children with our teams, and it's a great opportunity for families to enjoy the excitement of going to Greyhound Football games together," Events Manager Jennifer Poyer said.

In addition, as a special for the first game only, the ENMU Campus Bookstore is also paying the gate admission for each child and up to two adults per child to get into the game free.

To register, parents should call the Athletics Events office at 562-2971 as soon as possible because only the first 120 entries will be accepted. T-shirts can be picked up at the Events Office in Greyhound Arena, room 1, as soon as Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 8.

"Li'l Hound Pound" kids club members are also invited to wear their new membership shirts to the downtown pep rally on Thurs. Sept. 9 at 7:00 p.m. on the Portales square, on the courthouse lawn.
