JACKSON FROM ARIZONA WESTERN SIGNS ENMU BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP Jackson is the second junior college player and the third new player overall signed by first-year Head Coach Shawn Scanlan. Jackson played on two outstanding teams at Arizona Western. He helped the Matadors earn a 24-8 record this past season on their way to the Regional Final. During his freshman year in 1998-99, Arizona Western earned a 25-8 overall record, won the Regional championship and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan. As a sophomore, Jackson averaged 11.5 points per game and grabbed 5 rebounds per contest. He was very active on the court for AWC, and recorded 54 steals, averaging nearly 2 steals per game. He will likely be used as a swing forward when he joins the Greyhounds this winter. Jackson is originally from Spartanburg, S.C. He graduated from Spartanburg high school. EASTERN
