BRENTON ROBINSON FROM CENTRAL ARIZONA SIGNS BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP AT ENMU
PORTALES, NM — Brenton Robinson, a 6’6”, 215-pound forward from Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Ariz., has signed an athletic scholarship to play basketball at Eastern New Mexico University.

Robinson is the third junior college player signed by first-year Head Coach Shawn Scanlan. The Greyhounds currently have seven players who have signed scholarships for the upcoming season. Robinson helped Central Arizona earn a 19-11 record in 1999-2000. He averaged 10 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, as CAC reached the Regional semifinals before losing to eventual Regional champion Cochise College. Robinson blocked a team-high 54 shots during the season. A strong inside scorer, Robinson will play the power forward position at ENMU.

He is originally from Tucson, Ariz. He played prep basketball at Rincon High School.
