CLARK,
VAN BAALEN, BANET NAMED Clark, who has earned a 3.60 cumulative GPA while majoring in Biology at ENMU, was ENMU’s top runner on the women’s team this season. She took 31st at the LSC Cross Country Championships, completing the 6-kilometer course in 26:53.91. Earlier in the season she finished 8th at the Tom Strandt Invitational at Fort Lewis College, took 12th place at the Texas Tech Open and earned 19th place at the New Mexico State University Kachina Classic. Van Baalen is majoring in Elementary Education. She has a 3.31 cumulative GPA. Van Baalen was in her third season on the ENMU women’s cross country team. Banet owns a 3.22 GPA and is majoring in Criminal Justice. She was the second ENMU runner to cross the finish line at the LSC Cross Country Championships. She took 41st place with a time of 27:43.26. She was in her second season as a Zia cross country runner. Student-athletes qualified for the LSC South Commissioner’s Honor Roll by earning at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average in all college level work and by completing a minimum of 24 semesters hours at their current college or university. A total of 22 women’s cross country runners qualified for the Commissioner’s Honor Roll this fall. The Eastern New Mexico women’s cross country team took 10th place out of 11 teams at the LSC Championships. The Zias were under the direction of Head Coach April Tisby, who began her first year at ENMU shortly before the season started. |
