ENMU ATHLETICS CAR GIVEAWAY
PORTALES, NM — Being an ENMU Basketball fan may pay off for a lucky few who will be entered into a drawing to win a car during the last basketball game of the ENMU seasons on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7:00 p.m. as the Zias take on Texas Woman's University at Greyhound Arena in Portales.

Teague Strebeck and ENMU Athletics have teamed up to give away a car during the 2000 basketball season. Every home game this year, five numbers were drawn and contestants came down to the floor to shoot a 3-pointer.

If a contestant made the 3-pointer, his or her name was added to a list. On Feb 26, one person from that list of names will be chosen to shoot a specially selected shot (or group of shots) to have a chance to win a brand new car from Teague Strebeck.

"I think it would be outstanding to give the car away," Events Manager Jennifer Poyer said. "Last year, the man who was chosen for the final shot came really close to winning the car, and it would be so exciting to give away another vehicle."

In addition to the half-time giveaways, everyone's sweethearts the Clovis Miniwildcadettes will be performing during half-time.

Included in the festivities are the "Green Monster" and the IGA "Shootin' for Cash," giveaways. Contestants who are called to sit on the Green Monster will enjoy free pizza and Pepsi while they enjoy the game from courtside.

Also, during halftime of the game, one contestant will have the chance to win up to $230 in free groceries from IGA in Portales. All tickets for the Teague Strebeck car, the IGA cash and the Green Monster are FREE at the door.
