ENMU ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE CHANGES
PORTALES, NM — The Eastern New Mexico University softball team has announced several changes to its remaining 2000 schedule. The changes affect games with Trinity University (Texas) and with Texas Woman’s University.

ENMU, which won two games at Trinity on Mar. 8, will not play the Tigers in a second double-header at Trinity on Sun., Apr. 2 as scheduled. The Zias were originally slated to take on Trinity in San Antonio after playing Lone Star Conference games at Texas A&M- Kingsville on Fri., Mar. 31 and Sat., Apr. 1.The canceled games will not be rescheduled.

Eastern New Mexico also changed the dates of its LSC series against Texas Woman’s, originally scheduled for Fri., Apr. 14 and Sat., Apr. 15 at Zia Softball Field. The double-headers have been moved one day later, to Sat., Apr. 15 at 1:00 p.m. and Sun., April 16 at 12:00 noon.

The Zias, under second-year Head Coach Kathleen Rodriguez, are currently 20-18 on the season. ENMU is 2-2 in the LSC South, tied with Texas Woman’s, TAMU-Kingsville and Abilene Christian for the division lead.
