PORTALES NATIONAL BANK HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT
PORTALES, NM — Local High School students will have a chance to watch Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds take on the Midwestern State Indians. The game will take place on Saturday September 16 at 6:00 p.m. All high school students are invited to come to the game free! In order to get in all they need to have is a student ID card, a driver's license or by wearing their school colors to show their spirit.

"Eastern New Mexico University has one of the most outstanding athletic programs in the Southwest. We all need to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to view this winning athletic program. Winning is a tradition at Eastern New Mexico University and we at Portales National Bank are proud to be a part of it" David Stone President of Portales National Bank said.

The game begins at 6:00, but at 4:00 Sodexho-Marriott will begin serving a delicious tailgate of baby back ribs will all the extras. The price for this tailgate is $5.00 plus tax. "This is a great opportunity to bring out the whole family and have a great dinner and watch a great football game" events staff member Nicole Carmichael said.

Eastern New Mexico University admissions is very excited that Eastern Athletics is partnering with a local bank to bring High School students to the game. Karyl Lyne, assistant Vice President for student affairs said, "Were delighted to be partnering with Portales National Bank, and we're delighted at their interest and enthusiasm in encouraging all high school students to make Eastern their college choice. "High School Night is always a fun evening. High School students add enthusiasm, excitement and energy to all of our events! This football game will be a tough hard fought battle and we need all of our regional high students to help us win!" said Director of Athletics Rosie Stallman.
