BRANDON RIDENOUR IS REPEAT SELECTION
ON LSC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Brandon RidenourPORTALES, NM — Eastern New Mexico University senior guard Brandon Ridenour (6’2”, 170 lbs., Lovington, NM/New Mexico J.C.) has been named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team for the 2000-01 season as selected by the LSC sports information directors. The North and South divisions were combined for this year’s All-Academic Team.

Ridenour, a repeat selection, was named to the LSC South All-Academic Team in 1999-00. Student-athletes were chosen for the All-Academic Team based upon academic and athletic success.

Majoring in Computer Information Systems at ENMU, Ridenour played in all 26 games for the Greyhounds. He scored 288 points during the season, an average of 11.1 points per game. In three seasons at ENMU, he scored 810 points. Ridenour ranked 3rd in the LSC in three-point field goals percentage (43.2%, 57 of 132) this season. He also earned 47 assists and 18 steals. Ridenour has been very successful in the classroom. He has achieved a 3.765 cumulative grade point average in all of his collegiate work.

Seven players were selected for the LSC South All-Academic Team. Those players also qualified for the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Starters and key reserves with at least a 3.2 grade point average and 24 semester hours at an LSC member institution were eligible for the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
