ROBERT FEAR SIGNS LETTER-OF-INTENT
TO RUN FOR ENMU CROSS COUNTRY TEAM
PORTALES, NM — Robert Fear, from Artesia High School in Artesia, New Mexico, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to run for the Eastern New Mexico University men’s cross country team. Fear will join ENMU Head Coach April Tisby and the Greyhounds for the 2001 cross country season.

Fear, 5’10” 135 pounds, placed 22nd at the State Cross Country Meet during the 2000 season. He also was a District Champion in track and field in 2001, winning the 3200 meters and qualifying for the State Track and Field Meet. A successful student, Fear is a member of the National Honor Society.

“I am excited to have Robert as an addition to our Greyhound cross country program. I am confident he will make an immediate contribution to our team,” said Tisby.

Eastern New Mexico revived its men’s cross country team during the 1996-97 academic year. The Greyhounds compete in NCAA Division II and the Lone Star Conference, which has teams in New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.
