FINAL DAY OF BRONCHO INVITATIONAL CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER
EDMOND, OK – Eastern New Mexico University, ranked #23 in NCAA Division II with a 12-2 record, was unable to play its scheduled matches today (Saturday, April 13) at the University of Central Oklahoma Broncho Invitational, following cancellation of the final day of the event due to the weather.

ENMU was originally slated to play Cameron University, tied for #40 in Division II, and Northeastern State University, ranked #17 in Division II. Prior to today’s cancellation, the Zias were 3-0 in the tournament. ENMU shut out East Central University, 5-0, on Thursday, April 11.

The Zias defeated Midwestern State, tied for #40 in Division II, 5-3, on Friday, April 12, then upended Northwest Missouri State, 5-1. ENMU will return to action April 18-19 at the Lone Star Conference Tennis Tournament in Abilene, Texas. Last year, the Zias took fourth place in the LSC.
