ENMU Football Team Announces Two Additional National Letter-of-Intent Signings

PORTALES, NM – One day after signing 16 high school student-athletes to National Letters-of-Intent, Eastern New Mexico University head football coach Harold “Bud” Elliott has announced the signing of two more incoming freshmen, giving ENMU a total of 18 players signed this spring. Included on the following list are the most recent players to sign National Letters-of-Intent with Eastern New Mexico University.

ENMU finished 2002 with an 8-3 record and a 4-2 mark in the Lone Star Conference South Division (3rd place tie). It was the Greyhounds’ fifth consecutive winning season and third 8-3 season since 1998. Elliott has guided ENMU to seven winning seasons in nine years. He owns a 56-39-2 (.588) record at Eastern, and is 193-169-9 (.532) in 35 years as a head coach. Elliott was named LSC South Coach-of-the-Year in 2002. It was his fourth Coach-of-the-Year award in the past five seasons.
