ENMU's Anna Bellum is Named First Team All-Lone Star Conference South Division
Rodman and McGinty Receive Honorable Mention

PORTALES, NM - Eastern New Mexico University junior outside hitter Anna Bellum (5'10", Albuquerque, NM/Garden City CC) has been named First Team All-Lone Star Conference South Division in voting by the six head coaches in the LSC South. ENMU junior middle blocker Emilie Rodman (6'0", Gillette, WY/Western Wyoming CC) and junior outside hitter Kelley McGinty (5'10", Longview, WA/Whatcom CC) received Honorable Mention.

The Zias, who finished the season at 16-15 for their 15th consecutive winning record in 17 seasons under the guidance of Head Coach Mike Maguire, were 7-3 in the LSC South (2nd place). ENMU qualified for the LSC Tournament for the 13th time.

Bellum led Eastern with 481 kills for the 5th highest total in Zia volleyball history. She averaged 4.26 kills per game to rank 4th in the LSC. She achieved an overall hitting percentage of .191, including .236 over the final 15 matches of the regular season, helping ENMU overcome a 5-10 start to finish above .500. Bellum was named LSC South Offensive Player-of-the-Week on Oct. 6 and was chosen LSC South Defensive Player-of-the-Week on Oct. 13.

She ranked second on the team with 394 digs (3.49 avg.) and provided the Zias with 25 service aces (0.2 avg.) and 56 total blocks (0.5 avg.). She registered 10 or more kills in 25 of 31 matches and had 20 or more kills nine times. Bellum achieved a season-high 28 kills against Bellarmine University on Oct. 17. She earned 10 or more kills in 13 consecutive matches between Sept. 11 and Oct. 17. She recorded 24 kills in Eastern's LSC Tournament match against Texas Woman's University on Nov. 13.

Rodman tied for second on the ENMU team with 298 kills, an average of 2.59 kills per game. She led the Zias in hitting percentage at .264, and earned an impressive .341 hitting percentage during the last 15 regular season matches. She was second on the team with 82 total blocks (0.71 avg.) and also contributed 29 service aces (0.25 avg.) and 132 digs (1.15 avg.). She ranked eighth in the LSC in hitting percentage. Rodman supplied 10 or more kills in 16 matches and made less than five attacking errors in 24 matches during the season. She recorded 18 kills against Wayland Baptist on Nov. 4 and against Texas Woman's University in the LSC Tournament.

McGinty was an all-around player for the Zias. She tied Rodman for second on the team with 298 kills (2.59 avg.) and was the team leader in digs with 403 (3.50 avg.). She ranked 10th in the LSC in digs per game. She recorded 10 or more digs in 20 matches, and achieved a season-high 29 digs against Cameron University on Sept. 26. McGinty provided the Zias with 10 or more kills 13 times and concluded the season with 11 double-doubles (10 or more kills and 10 or more digs in the same match). She earned 20 service aces (0.17 avg.) and had only 19 service errors in 115 games. She also registered 38 total blocks (0.33 avg.).
