ENMU Volleyball Action at LSC Tournament
will be Broadcast on the Internet

Every ENMU match available at www.teamline.cc

PORTALES, N.M. — Every match played by the Eastern New Mexico University Zias at the Lone Star Conference Tournament, Nov. 11-13, in Lawton, Okla., will be broadcast on the Internet through Eastern’s agreement with TRZ/Teamline. The audio broadcast of each match will be available free to listeners on the Internet.

Matt Brady, graduate assistant for sports information at ENMU, will provide the play-by-play each night, as long as the Zias are still alive in the tournament. The first broadcast will begin at 3:50 p.m. MST on Thursday, Nov. 11, approximately 10 minutes before the start of the Zias’ first round match against the University of Central Oklahoma.

If the Zias win on Thursday, they will take on Abilene Christian University in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 12. The broadcast of the semifinal match will get underway at 3:50 p.m. MST. If ENMU reaches the LSC Championship match, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, the broadcast of that contest will start at 5:50 p.m. MST.

To access the Internet broadcast go directly to www.teamline.cc and type in Eastern New Mexico. When Eastern’s broadcast page appears, select the volleyball match that coincides with the night you are listening. ENMU fans also can go to the ENMU Web site at www.enmu.edu, then select athletics. From the athletics page, click on the Teamline link.

ENMU is currently 23-7. The Zias, who tied for second place in the LSC South at 7-3, are the #3 seed from the South Division after losing the tie-breaker to Angelo State University. The Zias are currently ranked #6 in the NCAA Southwest Region and have a strong chance to be one of eight teams selected from the Region for the NCAA Division II Tournament later this month.

UCO enters the LSC Tournament with a 21-8 record, while ACU is 26-7. The remaining teams in the LSC Tournament are Angelo State, 22-8, Cameron University, 19-11, and Texas Woman’s University, 15-17 prior to a non-conference match at Texas Wesleyan on Nov. 9. The LSC Tournament champion receives an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
