ENMU Women's Soccer Team to Host Free Clinic
Zias will Instruct Youngsters Aug. 28 at 3 p.m.

PORTALES, N.M. — The Eastern New Mexico University women’s soccer team will hold a free soccer clinic on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. The clinic will be held at the practice field located on West University across from the soccer game field. Head Coach Travis McCorkle and the Zias will lead the clinic, which will be open to all children 6-13 years old. Youngsters should bring a soccer ball, shin guards and water to the clinic.

The 2005 season will be the Zias third year of intercollegiate soccer competition. In 2004, ENMU finished the year with an overall record of 9-9-2, including a 2-5-2 record in the Lone Star Conference. The Zias earned eight points in the LSC standings (three points per win; one point per tie) and fell just one point short of qualifying for the LSC Tournament.
