Box Score - Game #1, ENMU 7, ECU 3
Box Score - Game #2, ECU 8, ENMU 2

ADA, OKLA. — Eastern New Mexico University didn't have a hit through 5 2/3 innings in the first game of a Lone Star Conference crossover double header at East Central University on Friday, Feb. 25, but the Greyhounds rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Tigers, 7-3. ECU won the second game, 8-2. Both teams ended the day at .500 on the season, ENMU with a 5-5 record and ECU at 6-6.

In the first game, East Central pitcher Corey Hall still had a no-hitter two outs into the sixth inning. He shut down 17 of the first 18 Eastern batters he faced, allowing only Josh Kuchta (Sr., SS, Clovis, NM/Clovis HS) to get on base when he was hit by a pitch in the first inning.

Kelly Crain (Jr., RHP, Gordon, TX/Gordon HS) recorded the pitching win for ENMU, as he struck out five batters in 5 1/3 innings and overcame a difficult second inning, in which ECU scored two runs. Mark Wallace (Sr., 1B, Alamogordo, NM/Alamogordo HS) drove in two of Eastern's four runs in the sixth inning with a triple down the right field line. The Greyhounds added three runs in the seventh inning.
