Trevor Davis Chosen LSC South Pitcher of the Week for Second Time this Season
Earns a Win and a Save, Allows No Earned Runs
PORTALES, N.M. — Eastern New Mexico University senior pitcher Trevor Davis (RHP, Evergreen, CO/Evergreen HS) has been named Lone Star Conference South Division Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. His second award covers the week ending on Sunday, Feb. 27. Overall, Davis has been named LSC South Pitcher of the Week three times. He previously received the honor on Mar. 11, 2002 and on Feb. 16, 2005.

In earning Pitcher of the Week honors this past week, Davis achieved a 1-0 record on the mound, while providing one save and recording a 0.00 earned run average. He threw the final 1 2/3 innings of the first game on Friday, Feb. 25 to claim his second save of the season. He tossed a complete-game four-hitter on Saturday, Feb. 26, for a 3-0 victory in the final game of the LSC crossover series. He gave up just one run (unearned) during the week, while registering five strikeouts and allowing no walks or extra-base hits in 8 2/3 innings pitched.
