ENMU Softball Games at Midwestern State Canceled

PORTALES, N.M. — Eastern New Mexico University and Midwestern State University have canceled their softball double-header, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 12, due to the weather. No makeup date has been announced, but the teams will try to reschedule the games for later this season. If the double-header is rescheduled, it will likely be played at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas, where the games were originally scheduled to take place.

Eastern’s double-header at Cameron University, initially set for Sunday, Feb. 13, was canceled on Thursday. With the MSU and Cameron games wiped out by the weather, the Zias’ next action will be at the College of the Southwest on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. MST.

The Zias will return to Portales for a double-header against New Mexico Highlands University on Friday, Feb. 18. Eastern hosts another in-state rival, Western New Mexico University, on Saturday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 20. All three double-headers will start at 12 p.m. MST.
