Cameron Defeats Greyhounds, 12-7 and 7-4, as Aggies Improve to 10-1 at Home
Alvarado Hits a Double, a Triple and Scores Three Runs for ENMU in Game #1

LAWTON, OKLA. — Cameron University scored seven runs in the third inning of Game #1, then broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the sixth inning of Game #2, as the Aggies improved to 10-1 at home with a 12-7, 7-4 double-header sweep of Eastern New Mexico University on Thursday, Mar. 24. Cameron, just 3-9 on the road, upped its overall record to 13-10. ENMU fell to 11-15 on the season.

In the opener, Gilbert Alvarado (Jr., LF, Roswell, NM/New Mexico State University) went 2 for 3 for Eastern, with a double, a triple and three runs scored. In the second game, Ryan French (Jr., CF, Carlsbad, NM/Trinidad State Junior College) provided the Greyhounds with two hits in two at bats. French also scored one run, which gave ENMU a 3-0 lead in the top of the fifth. Cameron rallied with three runs in the bottom of the fifth and four runs in the sixth. The teams will play another double-header on Friday, Mar. 25, starting at 12 p.m. MST.
