Natasha Lindsey (Sr., RHP, Auburn, WA/ Tusculum College) got the start for the Zias allowing five runs, two earned on nine hits through five innings. Rosemary Moreno finished the game for the Zias pitching one inning while giving up a two-run homer.

Offensively the Zias faced the same difficulties against Science & Arts as they did versus Washburn as they stranded seven runners, going three for twenty-seven on the day. The only scoring for the Zias came in the sixth, managing one run as Danielle Flores was called to pinch-run for Jessica Nocas who walked. Flores advanced to third on a fielding error, and later scored on a past ball.

The Zias record moved to 2-4 with the loss to Science & Arts as the Zias seek to improve their record against College of the Southwest. Game one of the double-header starts at 12 p.m. MST. The Zias open their home schedule on March 3 against CSW.
