Micah Bernhardt (Sr., 2B/3B, 5’10”, 175 lbs., Gypsum, CO/Arapahoe CC/Eagle Valley HS)
— Hit .500 during the week with 2 hits in 4 at bats
— Recorded a triple and 2 RBIs in the first game of the SWOSU series
— Added a single and an RBI in the second game of the series

Rosemary Moreno (Sr., RHP, 5’5”, Midland, TX/Midland College/Robert E. Lee HS)
— Went 3-0 as a pitcher, with a 1.22 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched
— Threw all nine innings and registered 8 strikeouts in Eastern’s 5-4, 9-inning win at NMHU
— Earned both of ENMU’s victories against Tarleton State, including a 3-0 shutout with
8 strikeouts in the final game of the four-game series

Women’s Tennis (3-3 Overall, 1-3 LSC)

*Mar. 10 — ENMU defeated Central Oklahoma, 5-4

Last Week’s Top Performances:

Tracy Hughes (Sr., 3S/2D, 5’1”, Midland, TX/Midland HS)
— Rallied from a 6-3 loss in the first set at #3 singles, to win the second set 7-6 (7-1 tie-breaker) and take the third set 6-2, to defeat Dominika Kovacikova and give ENMU the team victory against Central Oklahoma.
— Teamed with Kristen Van Wettering to play a competitive match at #2 doubles before
losing to Kovacikova and Amy Cabato, 8-6

Elyse Jacques (Sr., 1S/1D, 5’7”, Austin, TX/Temple College/Westwood HS)
— Teamed with Erica Kelly to defeat Julie Vo and Dasha Titkina of UCO, 8-4, at #1 doubles
— Played a competitive match with Vo in singles before losing, 6-2, 7-5

Cassidy Bancks (So., 5S, 5’7”, Marysville, BC, Canada/Mt. Baker Secondary)
— Won #5 singles against UCO, defeating Skylar Nelson, 6-2, 6-2

Kim Brackens
— Took 5th place in the women’s long jump (17’ 3 1/4”) at the Tarleton State Relays

Nicole Valdez
— Placed eighth in the women’s shot put (35’ 11”) at the Tarleton State Relays

Stephanie Fitts
— Placed fifth in the women’s discus (125’ 10”) at the Tarleton State Relays

Felix Boit
— Took 4th place in the men’s 1,500-meter run (4:07.86), just 7.51 seconds out of first, at the Tarleton State Relays
— Placed 9th in the men’s 800-meter run (2:01.48) at the Tarleton State Relays.

Guy Koholi
— Placed 8th in the men’s 1,500-meter run (4:13.04) at the Tarleton State Relays

Orlando Sanchez
— Finished 5th in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:05) at the Tarleton State Relays

Branden Sultemeier
— Placed 5th in the men’s shot put (44’ 1”) at the Tarleton State Relays

Rodeo

*Mar. 9-11 — ENMU competed at the Weatherford College Rodeo
ENMU’s men placed 12th; ENMU’s women placed 4th

Tyrell Flewelling
— Competed with Kyle Roberts of New Mexico JC to tie for first place in team roping with an overall time of 13.1 seconds
— Recorded the fastest time in the short go at 5.9 seconds, after finishing the long go in
7.2 seconds

Kelcey Foreman
— Placed third in goat tying with a combined time of 20.0 seconds
— Registered the best time of the short go in 9.6 seconds, after completing the long go in 10.4 seconds

Max Fortmuller
— Tied for fourth place in bull riding with a score of 71 on his first ride
— Only one bull rider, champion Cody Harden of Frank Phillips, completed a ride in the
short go (69-80--149)

Dana Lewis
— Earned a 5th place finish in barrel racing with a combined time of 34.77 seconds, as she finished just 0.18 seconds out of third place and 0.63 seconds out of first
—Recorded a time of 17.26 in the long go and a time of 17.51 in the short go
