• Hit .400 during the week (4 of 10) with a double and 2 runs
• Earned one hit in all four games against TAMU-Kingsville
• Is batting .389 for the season

Ashley Toye (So., 6S/3D, 5’6”, Kelowna, BC, Canada/Mt. Boucherie Secondary)
• Won two matches at #6 singles, with one match not completed due to the team score
• Defeated Talya Quick of Emporia State, 6-1, 6-1, and downed Mellisa Clift
of Cameron, 6-1, 6-0
• Also won two of three matches with Eve Andrews at #3 doubles, as they defeated Emporia State, 9-8 (7-3 tie-breaker) and St. Edward’s, 9-7, but lost to Cameron, 8-5

Kristen Van Wettering (Jr., 5S/2D, 5’9”, Portales, NM/Portales HS)
• Won two of three matches at #5 singles
• Defeated Mandy Salazar of St. Edward’s, 6-4, 6-0, and defeated Ayumi Hivai of Cameron, 6-0, 6-3, but lost to Annie Boothe of Emporia State, 6-4, 6-4

Track and Field

The ENMU men’s team took 7th place with 36 points; The women’s team did not score

Zach Gerleve (Jr., Javelin, 6’0”, 185 lbs., Truth or Consequences, NM/Hot Springs HS)
• Won the javelin for the second week in a row, as he recorded a throw of 161’6” to lead
ENMU to a 1-2-3 sweep of the top places at the ASU David Noble Relays

Logan Capps (Fr., Javelin, 5’11”, 185 lbs., Cloudcroft, NM/Cloudcroft HS)
• Took second place in the men’s javelin with a throw of 181’11” at ASU

Aaron Carper (So., Javelin, 5’11”, 195 lbs., Artesia, NM/Artesia HS)
• Took third place in the men’s javelin with a throw of 171’11” at ASU

Guy Koholi (Fr., Runner, 5’11”, 135 lbs., Yaure, Israel/Ginsburg HS)
• Placed 3rd in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.90 (1.27 seconds out of first place)
at the ASU David Noble Relays

Kim Brackens (Fr., Long Jump, 5’10”, Levelland, TX/Levelland HS)
• Earned a 7th place finish in the long jump with a leap of 17’6.5” at ASU
