Evan Courteau (Jr., RHP, 6’2”, 190 lbs., Minneapolis, MN/Rochester CTC/Thomas Edison HS)
— Threw the first eight innings and allowed no runs and just five hits, all singles, in Eastern’s 4-0 victory over Abilene Christian on April 22; Held ACU to a .185 batting average during the game
— Improved his win-loss record to 7-4 on the season and is one win away from tying for
second on ENMU’s all-time victories list

Derrick Kennedy (So., 3B, 5’9”, 185 lbs., San Antonio, TX/G.W. Brackenridge HS)
— Hit .313 during the week (5 of 16) with a double, 2 runs and 2 RBIs
— Drove in the first two runs in Eastern’s four-run 7th inning in the Hounds’ 4-0 win over ACU
— Recorded at least one hit in all four games during the ACU series, including a 2-for-3
performance in the final game

Justin Gee (Sr., RF, 6’2”, 215 lbs., Clovis, NM/Clovis HS)
— Drove in the final two runs in Eastern’s four-run 7th inning in the 4-0 win over ACU
— Earned 11 putouts and 2 assists in right-field, despite playing with a sprained ankle

Jeff Roemer (Jr., 1B/P, 6’5”, 215 lbs., Woodbury, MN/Rochester CTC/Woodbury HS)
— Hit .429 during the series with Abilene Christian (3 of 7) and also scored two runs
— Recorded 26 putouts, 1 assist and no errors during the week

— Hit .462 during the week (6 of 13) with a double and three home runs

— Earned at least one hit in all four games, including two hits twice
— Blasted a homer to give the Zias a 3-1 lead in the first game against Angelo State (5-3 win) and hit two homers in the final game of the series (8-5 win)

— Hit .500 during the week (6 of 12) with 1 run and 1 RBI
— Earned 35 putouts with no errors during the Angelo State series
— Upped her batting average to .343

Danielle Flores (Jr., LF/DP, 5’6”, Loving, NM/Loving HS)
— Hit .800 during the week (4 of 5) with 1 double, 2 runs and 1 RBIs
— Improved her batting average to .342 this season
