Silverados

The ENMU Silverados are a vivacious group of dancers that work together like a family. The team encourages and supports school spirit and positive sportsmanship through various halftime performances, public appearances and dance concerts. It is the goal of the team not only to be spirited and to entertain, but also to develop a better understanding of dance and to improve individual's dance technique.

Ideally the team consists of 10 to 20 dancers. Each dancer making the team is required to attend the two weekly rehearsals, all dress rehearsals, performances and all other events as told. Dancers on the team are required to take at least one dance technique class, per semester, through the ENMU Department of Theatre and Dance, i.e. Ballet, Modern, Jazz, ect.

The Silverados will be performing at each home football game half-time show along with the ENMU band, the Greyhound Sound, as well as numerous home volleyball performances between the second and third games. They continue to perform at the men's and women's basketball home games as well. Performances are exciting and entertaining, providing the audience with a show guaranteed to impress.
