Coach McMullen's Philosophy

"Needless to say, we strive to win every time we Greyhounds
step onto a course and we expect our student
athletes to give their best in practice and meets;
but, along with that, we stress a "family" atmosphere. We share time together, support and
push one another athletically and academically, and enjoy one another as only a family can. If a student athlete feels that they are an integral part of a cohesive and goal-oriented unit, they will push themselves and do whatever they can to not only succeed individually, but to not let down their teammates.

As coaches, we want to succeed. But more importantly, we want to make a difference in each student athlete's life, so that twenty years from now each of them will want to bring their own children into our office to meet their old coach because of what we meant to that student athlete. There is no greater reward in coaching."2004 Team
